Excluded experience

There was a time I felt excluded by my classmates when I was in secondary school.  I later learnt that it was because of being too quite.

This sounds familiar. I, too, found myself excluded by my classmates when I joined a boarding secondary school away from my village. The girls from around the school formed a clique, which tended to leave out anyone from a different location. Furthermore, most of them came from well-to-do families, while mine was quite humble.
