Feeling excluded

I was about 6 or 7 years old. Kids in the neighbourhood play football in a neighbouring playground.

I wanted to take part in the game (even as a substitute!!!) But the other kids refused pretending I played badly.

That created a feeling of frustration, deep inside me. (I still remember it, though after over 55 years)

Thanks for sharing.  Some experiences stay with us for life and shape how we respond to similar events in the future.  We are then faced with the challenge of how to use them to strengthen us and those around us.  Knowing how these situations made us feel can inform our choices on how we must act.
