1.2 Feeling included

I can recall in primary school.  I always felt included in class because even though I was shy I use to like partaking in class answering questions and was call upon to answer questions from time to time.  When I was praised for my answer it made me felt great.

As a teacher I try to include all my students and encourage them through positive words such as you can do it, you are smart because I know that all student can learn they just need help in becoming motivated.

I can clearly recall a student who was shy and when I placed that child in group activity and it’s time for presentation he wouldn’t present and all the student say Ms. he won’t talk and I had to talk to him and encourage him and eventually that child started to do presentation and the other students were surprised because that is something he never did the the other class.  Eventually he partake in a show on stage. So I know that I made a difference in that child’s life.
