In my country, Trinidad and Tobago, secondary school teachers are encouraged to pursue a Diploma in Education. This course focuses on learner-centered teaching strategies beneficial to all learners. At the primary level, teachers must complete a bachelor in education which maintains the same objective for those entering the teaching system.

In the recent years, an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) course was introduced to all teachers with the aim of improving one's pedagogical strategies to help all learners. I have completed this course and I gained a wealth of knowledge and resources to help students with disabilities especially during this virtual learning.
