The teachers –
Looked at different aids to help with writing
Assessed students individual needs and decided the class best suited for the students
Grouped only 1 or 2 students with high support needs in any of their given classroom grouping plan
Sought much support from parents
Worked closely with parents and therapists
Ensured that they knew/were informed of the disabilities which they were adjusting to
Used an array of strategies to aid students’ concentration skills
Spoke to others/Maintained collaboration with other professionals
Continued to ask questions
Be prepared.
Planned lessons with a variety of activities
Established routine of taking turn but not letting the students with attention disorders waiting too long to be included in class discussion
Designated tasks, avoid desk clutter, use of screens to aid concentration
Use reward systems for and praise for all the students
Be consistent in daily classroom routines
