After looking at the video on the interview conducted with Frederik Haga having to leave school for about seven years because of his disability, nothing was really put into place to assist him within the school; it is my opinion the if policies were implemented regarding inclusion, this would have helped him with inclusion in education.

After reading the blog below about Senzo, he was described as having a barrier to learning, but he was included through some simple adjustments to teaching. Senzo’s teacher drafted a support tool, which showed the areas in which he was experiencing challenges.  This tool also showed how support would benefit him, and an Individual Support Plan (ISP) was drafted for him in order to ensure that the specific barriers were addressed and supported. After careful observation his teacher was able to determine that Senzo needed to strengthen his fine motor skills and as a result of this, she prepared activities for him to actively engage in to develop his fine motor skills. Another adjustment made to support Senzo was to minimize distractions and encourage paired learning and support, in order for him to focus better on activities. After some time when he began to show improvement, his teacher praised him and this boosted his self confidence also adding to his learning and development.
