Reflections: Who do you think of when you hear about a child with disabilities?

Any child who might need extra help because of a medical, emotional, or learning problem.  These children have special needs because they might need medicine, therapy, or extra help in school – stuff other children don’t typically need or only need once in a while.  Children in wheelchairs or braces when they walk. Children who have illnesses, such as epilepsy or diabetes.  Children with sight, hearing and speech problems. Children with Down syndrome.
