The government’s policy on education in my country is to educate all learners to achieve their full potential and become productive citizens. 

A National Policy was developed to ensure that children with disabilities and children who are excluded because of difficulties are included with adequate and appropriate support services. Example: programmes are geared towards varying abilities, and changes were made in teaching methods, curriculum, and environment to meet the needs of all learners.

The impact of this policy is favourable and seemed to be working post Covid 19. Special educators were deployed into the schools to assist children with special needs, testing eyes and ears before entering primary school was being done, new schools were being built with adequate infrastructure. Parents were being supported with grants to help support their special needs child/children. I think more teachers should be sent into schools, more special needs schools should be constructed, and parents should be given more support not just monetary but emotionally and mentally as well.
