2.5 The Justification for LCE as a policy choice .

In my understanding, I would prioritize the 'Narratives" as follows;

1.The cognitive narrative - once learners are received, learning will take place more effectively when lessons are built on learners existing capabilities and interests.

2.Emansipatory narrative - where learners are empowered to more of their decisions other than being limited to teachers authoritarianism and strict curricula.This will  promote democracy and  eventually citizenship.

3. The preparation narrative - Once narratives1&2 have been applied, it will be easier for the learners to acquire the 21st century skills such as critical thinking, independent research among others.
