Active teaching

As a subject teacher, most times I normally have a discussion class where the students are allowed to contribute their own opinions.

Also I make sure to give them assignments, where they will go and research about a particular topic and bring their suggestions.

These methods have really helped them a lot to be more focused in class. But during my discussion class I found out that there are some students that don't like to participate unless you push them to contribute.
