The Ministry of education of Trinidad and Tobago is committed to a seamless education system of which inclusive education is an important factor. It helps to provide support and services to all learners, making education available, acceptable, and adaptable. With the global challenges our Ministry of Education responded urgently by upgrading our education system, in which, helps to clear the educational challenges faced by all learners ; for regular, gifted and or challenged students. It details that all children have access to a complete free and compulsory education detailing early childhood, primary and secondary levels. This policy applies to all learners, all educational organizations parents and guardians\ other care givers and all units of department within the Ministry of Education. Our policies help students by assessments, which measures learners skills and abilities; Individualized plan programs which can be written plan/ documents develop for a student identified as having special needs. Specialized services are delivered to facilitate learning for all students. 

Our curriculum is what is taught, and how it is delivered is the method in which it is taught. The Ministry of education has designed a level of education specifically, for learners with special needs, who can not preform to their maximum level as regular students. The environment may be adapted, for special learners, specialized curriculum, trained professionals, materials are provided and different teaching methods, are all used to help provide a quality level of education for Inclusive Learning. 

Our Ministry has embarked on a journey to provide quality education for all, by also, providing teachers with professional workshops and courses to help develop their skills and increase their ability to better deliver the curriculum and improve the quality of education for all learners.
