Activity 2.8 Challenges presented by LCE

Some Challenges to implementing LCE at my school:

  • Multigrade class (35 -40 students per child) and space are limited. 
  • Teachers are aware that students need help but have limited time and teaching resources to help. 
  • lack of parental support. 
  • We do not have specialists or counselors to help students. 

To be addressed to some extent it would take people from the community, people who work in Education System to help deal with challenges. 

Some Challenges I have encountered and what I try to work out to help students. 

  • As a teacher, some challenges I have encountered are parental support, lack of teaching materials or resources. However, at my school, we work as a team and help each other with ideas, materials and we try all our best to explain to parents to help their child. We have parents meeting and give them ideas on how to help children (only some will do so)
