2.2 Putting policy into practice

The role of the teachers are to support the education of young girls by welcoming and encouraging them to attend and participate in school. Teachers also have to adapt to being more inclusive as they will now have in their midst young mothers or young pregnant girls.

The most crucial challenge is change / changing. We all know that change is never something easy to accept or to do, therefore to overcome such hurdle we need to change the mindsets of these young girls going back to school and also try to reduce negative attitudes from those already in school to those who are now trying to return and be educated.

Resources that are required are health visits / care during pregnancy and after, providing healthy meals everyday, also the support from parents / guardians and the wider community.

The role of the policymakers in ensuring the success is enforcing laws so that parents can be fined if they don't allow their daughter to an education and also finances to those left behind because there is no inclusion while millions lack access to education.
