2.4 Attitudes to learners

What do you think he means by 'learner capacity'?

Daniel means that children / students come with their capacities and the teachers role is to build on those capacities. 

What cultural attitudes does he want to change?

Daniel wants to change they way society view children with special needs and disabilities. He wants them to change their belief that these children aren't curses and bad omens. Also he wants to change the belief that these children are contagious.

 What practical steps do you think teaches can take to challenge the notion of 'fixed intelligence'?

Teachers can reward students when they have shown some improvement. Also teachers can encourage those students that may be having difficulty in understanding something.
