Activity 3.1

Instead of writing notes on the board and having the class copy it, the teacher can look at having noted printed for the students. This is lesson time consuming and leave more time for engaged activities, for instance, the teacher can create a game for the specific topic or have diagrams done for the class to do.

Hi Sasha,

Thanks for you posting on the point: 'Instead of writing notes on the board and having the class copy it, the teacher can look at having notes printed for the students.'

I am of the strong opinion that note-taking is a personal matter and is centered on what each learner has gather from a learning experience in and outside of the classroom. Having come from the learners such notes provide the teacher with evidence of students’ learning on a wider scale and can be used to further facilitate the learning of the entire group. In this setting, teacher is no longer a master of his/her profession but has become an artist of it.
