Activity 3.6 – The Challenges of Inclusive Education

I do agree with Linda.

1) We do not have sufficient or competent personnel within the education sector.

This is true in my country as well.

 2) Resources – Not just Funds

 How could we use resources that are found within our local environments, so that we are able to provide resources that would support education for learners in our schools?

Why do teachers always have to be the one to source resources especially when we have to dip into our own pockets? This is something that has to be addressed in my country. Making resources to teach is too time-consuming.

3) Special Schools

Teachers who are trained in Inclusive Education look forward to working in special schools rather than working in what I would call Inclusive Schools.

I found this to be true as well.

4) Education assessment centres.

This is true as well. The support mechanism for inclusive education is not strong enough in my country.
