also it creates a level of interest in the topic e.g my subject area is History, students can become excited about learning.

Active reading also assists learners in articulating ideas gleaned from textual passages.  The feedback they receive from their classmates and teachers also helps them to fine tune their communication skills.

Perseverence also because we as Teachers have to continue to eccourage our students. As Teachers we have to continue doing research to gain knowledge and strategies to motivate our students.
