Activity 3.1 What active teaching looks like

Teachers standing at the front of the class are not engaging in an activing teaching and learning environment. Teachers should be seen assisting students all around the classroom. They should be at eye level of the child at times and engage in exploring and experimenting with the children. An active teaching practice is active not standing at the front lecturing or shouting to children at the back. The teacher should reach out to her students and engage them in conversation.
