Activity 4.4 Key Resources

I selected 'formative assessment'  because in order to know if the objectives were achieve or if learning has taken place we need to assess students/know what they have learnt. Normally we do assessments at the end of the lesson however, I learnt that assessment needs to be done before, during and after. We need to know a what they know already, how are they progressing and after the lesson what have they grasp this will not only assist us as teacher but also the students it will give let them know what they can do or what they are having difficulty in doing and how they can improve. Formative assessment it is not only a written test there are several strategies such as checklist, presentations, concept maps etc...

I agree and this way you can be able to plan lessons to suit the children's...
