Formats and methods

In this lesson we will learn about 4 Open Science training methods.

As we learned in the last module it is important to have a range of methods to use in training. In this lesson we will outline several methods that the ORION Open Science team use, why they are useful, and how to implement them.

The four methods we will cover are:

  • Brain walking

Flipchart with writing on it

  • Role play

People sitting in groups talking

  • Scenario questions

Flipchart with writing on it about preprints

  • Individual Action Plans (IAPs)

Hopefully these will also inspire you to find, adapt, and create your own training methods.
