Defining Your Aims and Learning Objectives
Now you are more familiar with who you might be training, it is important to focus on what you will be teaching. You need to think about what do you want to achieve and what is the purpose of the workshop or course. Consider whether your main goal is to inform, or to train a specific skill, or support reflection or transformation. It is helpful to imagine what should participants leave the course with. You can then reverse engineer this to define your learning objectives.
