I didn’t feel this was a great introduction to coding as someone who is a beginner. I felt that it started off easy enough, but jumped into the deep end way too quickly and I soon felt a bit overwhelmed. I found I had to keep clicking back to previous pages to reaffirm my understanding of various terms as I realised I hadn’t actually understood them clearly enough the first time round due to how it had been explained. Someone suggesting to Google the solutions says to me that the course doesn’t explain itself well enough for an introductory course. Michel Wermelinger is obviously very knowledgable in his field, but it seems he’s so far removed from being a beginner himself that he’s forgotten what a beginner will and won’t have knowledge of. I’m grateful for the free course, but I’m glad it was free; I’d have been disappointed if I had paid for this.
