Motivation is what keeps us going even when things aren’t going well.

This is especially important when undertaking a long-term project that lasts several years such as working towards a degree or developing a career path.

Setting interim goals to get you through the long journey of a three-year degree can help keep you motivated when you’re finding things difficult.
