Antonia Randall-Brandwood

Antonia has worked in immigration law for 12 years, establishing a wide practice area. After being called to the bar in 2010 she worked for the Home Office as a complex caseworker and presenting officer, specialising in asylum. In 2017 she established an OISC-regulated firm, RB Immigration, which provides advice in all areas of immigration. She is accredited at OISC Level 3 and as an IAAS senior caseworker. Antonia is an experienced and enthusiastic teacher, both in drafting teaching materials and delivering legal training.

Carol Howells

Carol is a member of the Open University Law School and has written a wide range of courses, including materials for OpenLearn, the LLB, BABs, LLM degrees, Access Courses and Executive Education. Her research interests include public engagement with law, and marginalised communities and their access to justice.

Edwin Parks

Edwin is a Senior Lecturer in Law at The Open University and has written a wide range of courses, including materials for OpenLearn, the LLB and Executive Education. He is an international practitioner and experienced OU tutor.

Liz Moody

Liz is Director of Executive Education, which is the part of the Open University Faculty of Business and Law where leaders and managers can be supported in their continuing and professional development (CPD). Her experience spans several sectors and subject areas, including projects for government covering aspects of UK and international law and diplomacy. She brings extensive experience of the pedagogy of work-based learning and has designed corporate programmes for cohorts from several national and international organisations in the public and private sector, as well as charities and small businesses. Liz has a Masters in Business Administration and has since added postgraduate qualifications in marketing, as well as training as a management coach and becoming a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

He is passionate about the work he does, appreciating that in his area of practice – whether it be a claim for asylum or an application for leave as an investor – outcomes change lives. He endeavours in every case to obtain the best possible outcome for his clients who rely on his considerable experience, expertise and unerring determination.
