LYNNE JOHNSON:
This week, you'll look to the future, exploring the positive impact of technology on our workplaces and looking at some of the challenges it can bring. You'll focus on remote communication and the impact that not being in the room can have on your sense of belonging to a team. But you'll also look at how technology can connect you with a much wider network through social media platforms, such as LinkedIn. In the future, we might all be working with virtual reality headsets on, and you'll consider what this might be like.
Finally, you'll have an opportunity to reflect on your own learning and development, and review your personal development plan. But the most important thing is to remember that putting into action what you've learned about communication can make a real difference to what you can achieve, how you're perceived, and the quality of your relationships. You decided to do this course for a reason, and I hope that you achieve your goal.
