steps taken by the tutor to get the students back on track with their studies

To help disengaged students get back on track, the tutor can begin by providing additional assistance, such as one-on-one feedback sessions to analyze their TMA results and help them improve. This individualized training may help them gain confidence and clear up any confusion. Furthermore, the tutor could organize a study skills session, particularly for students who have not studied in a while, to teach them efficient study habits and time management.

The tutor should also maintain regular contact with these students, conducting quick check-ins to see how they're doing and offering help. Forming study groups allows students to connect with classmates who are more experienced with the OU system and can provide encouragement and assistance.
