Don't forget funding acknowledgements when publishing

Papers are frequently retracted for failing to include funding acknowledgements.

Here are some guidelines from the EU on what to put: https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/docs/h2020-funding-guide/grants/grant-management/acknowledge-funding_en.htm

This is very important. I am a librarian, and was seconded for several months to work in my university's Open Access repository, handling uploads of publications by university researchers. A large number of enquiries related to costs for journal Open Access fees, and very often it was impossible for the funder or the university to cover these costs, as authors had not made the proper acknowledgement in the publication, and it was too late to edit the published article.

They are very useful guidelines to be aware of. Many thanks for sharing.
