Assignment 2: Open Collaborative Peer Review

Open Peer Review

In open science, peer review is valued and can be included at all stages of the research cycle - including research ideas. RIO (Research Ideas and Outcomes) Journal is a repository for all kinds of research outputs, including research ideas and grant proposals that did not reveive funding and hence were not carried out (yet!). This week we encourage you to participate in an open peer review excercise using the annotaton service of Hypothes.is

A Million Brains in the Cloud

Arno Klein and Satrajit S. Gosh published this research idea in 2016 and opened it to review. In fact, you could review their abstract directly in RIO, but for the MOOC activity "open peer review" we want you to read and annotate their proposal using this Hypothes.is layer. Please sign up to Hypothes.is and join the conversation!
