Open access : what benefits?

Hi,

I am not directly concerned by open access because my job consists in giving researchers support to manage better their data. In order to do that, one of my goal is to demonstrate the benefits of publishing open data in order to progress in data quality, data reusability, data interopability and finally obtain more and more citation (respectively download) of their work (respectively data).

In fact, I hope the mooc will give some keys to convince researchers and their management to give open access to publications.
