I agree with colleagues on this course that MOOC has certainly opened my eyes to the diversity of ways to make science open to wider audiences. Within institutions I feel this is still not talked about and the old publishing systems prevail. Feels like this should all be included in an induction for new career researchers joining science institutes! Great course - have learnt so much from creative commons licensing to pre-registering project opportunities to extra tools for public engagement.
