My thoughts on preregistration and open peer review

I have not preregistered a study before, but this module helped me understand why preregistration can be important for transparency and reproducibility. In my research area, projects can be exploratory and may change depending on the data, so preregistration may not always be straightforward. However, I think documenting the original research question, planned methods, and any later changes would already improve transparency.

I also found registered reports and open peer review interesting because they can reduce bias and make the research process more transparent. In the future, I would like to pay more attention to documenting my analysis decisions and making my research workflow clearer.
