That's all folks!
This is the final seed message in the forum, well done on getting this far. We hope that you have enjoyed the course and found it interesting, informative and - perhaps - challenging in places. We also hope that the course delivered what we promised at the beginning and that you...
"...learn(ed) about the Open University's model of distance teaching, specific information about how the School of Computing and Communications delivers its curriculum, and practical information about the tutor role."
We also hope that you feel more confident in what you can contribute as an OU tutor, that you have identified which module(s) interest you and that you are ready to complete your application form. You will find the OU Tutor vacancies page at https://www.open.ac.uk/jobs/tutors/
So, from Ana, Ann, Chris, Chris, Christine, David, Diane, Indra, Jenny, Kate Nigel, and Vic - good luck with the application, so long and thanks for all the fish!
Just completed the course and it was extremely useful in helping to prepare for my upcoming interview. Furthermore, it has given me an insight into how tutors are expected to teach and it is great to see the use of some inclusive and engaging teaching strategies.
I am looking forward to forming part of a forward thinking team, If I am fortunate enough to gain employment on one or more of the Open University modules.
Thank you for taking the time to put together this course.
First of all I will thank the team for designing this course so well and informative...... I have interest in teaching, hence this will definitely help me to become a good teacher as I learned a lot about tutoring :)
