Week 2-Reflection

Think about your own experience of Education. To what extent was it learner centred. 


My own experience of education as a child in elementary school was teacher centred. The teacher provided the class with all of the information, explanation and instructions. It was more chalk and talk with questions asks and no group activities. Where as in secondary school it was both teacher centred and students centred. The teacher provided us with some information and we were given opportunities to group work, discover new ideas and give explanations for our discoveries. We were given research and return to share feedbacks. We were also given opportunities for presentation and to role play scenarios.
