PRIORITISING LCE AS POLICY AND PRACTICE

1.Cognitive narrative would come first. good practice needs to take into consideration learners' capabilities and interest as first priority. 2.Preparatory narrative would be the second. development of individual life skills of learners on the bases of already identified learner capabilities would follow.This would help them be critical and independent thinkers,capable of even collaborating with other learners,instead of relying on teachers and teaching materials.    3.Emancipatory narrative would be placed at the bottom. The need to put more decisions in the hands of learners and free them from teacher authoritarianism,protect learners' rights and develop skills and attitudes that promote democracy would be given at this stage.
