LC Lesson Observed

I observed a lesson where the teacher was teaching about the problem facing modern urban cities. The students watched a video and through question and answer methods guided the students in identifying the problems. After the students identified the problems the teacher asked students to suggest a solution for each problem. This was LC because learners were actively engaged, relevant to the learners since the video was from a city in their country, there was mutual respect because teacher gave equal opportunities to all learners and picked all their responses and rejected some with respect and mutual understanding just to mention a few.

The teacher is the expert/main authority vs teacher as a facilitator of learning model of LCE is easier one to evaluate since it is easier to gauge the level of learner vs teacher participation.

That is quite a good example of a learner centered lesson.
