Working with Learners with Special Needs

The learner was dyslexic: I kept him in the same class with peers but gave work of a lower level so that he could learn basic literacy skills before he could master work for his grade. It worked quite well and could read and write better.

The learner was visually impaired. I sat him with a classmate who provided support. He had a voice recorder to capture what was going on in the lesson. He had the necessary assistive technology acquired from previous learning levels. he could use them effectively and he enjoyed the learning atmosphere.
