1.8 A vision for inclusive education

Daniel's key points summarized are:

1. children are taken as individuals and not as groups

2. individualizing teaching according to the needs of each child

3. teachers do adequate preparation for each topic for each child

4. materials are to be made for individual students and not made for groups

5. assessment should be based on criterion and not based n the norm

6. when it comes to content, Daniel expects teachers to adapt to the content

7. he will like to see a teacher prepared or trained to be able to welcome everybody into their children

8. a teacher should be able to welcome a child regardless of their needs into that classroom, this one is supreme because it sets the classroom climate for children to be able to be comfortable
