Attitude to Learners

Practical steps to challenge the notion of 'fixed Intelligence"

As teachers, we need to have the appropriate attitude towards every learner and more so those with disabilities.

let's receive learners with open arms, knowing that they have come with their own abilities and we only need to build on them; by:

-providing equal opportunity for learning to all learners. This includes using teaching strategies that will include all the learners, such as group work or pairing.

-When children are in an environment where appreciated and encouraged even when challenged, they develop a 'growth-mindset"  that they can learn and achieve more.

*Everyone is capable of learning.
