Feeling excluded

I felt excluded when I transferred from one high school to the next. I didn't know anyone and as a result I felt isolated as I had to eat alone and travel home alone. This situation caused me to withdraw a little. I think schools should consider having a welcoming committee so that it could help new students with their transition into a new school environment.
