Activity 2.8 Challenges presented by LCE

Dear Colleagues.

The school environment continues to be managed by a school administrator who internally and cautiously speaks about the teachers’ longstanding practices that are not adequately meeting the educational needs of the learners, yet continues to focus on presenting a good image of the school although in reality, the academic school records continue to decline.

Having been posted at the school for more than 10 years, I continue to be unsure as to where the persons with the authority to address this and the other school–related issues might begin. There are so many intertwining factors that seem to be working against any change for the betterment of the learners in this environment.
