3.8 Supporting learners with specific needs

I had a student with ADHD in my last second year class I taught. Neither myself nor my colleagues knew how to deal with him, so I was basically left by myself in term of handling him. He didn't like to do work at all. He was always restless and constantly getting up and walking out of class. What I did to help him a bit was to give him specific chores in class to do, that he loved and looked forward in doing. I also placed him close to my desk so I can always get a grip on him or talk to him if he started to get out of hand.
