I don’t think that it is difficult to explain as to see is perseverance. It all boils down to the attitude of the teacher and how he/she fosters perseverance. I have observed this within my classroom. This little girl chose a puzzle and started to use the pieces as characters and was looking around. I walked over to her and I took a piece and did some self-talk as to how I got the piece to fit. She looked at me and then followed. When she got her piece to fit she started dancing around and saying I did it I did it! She kept with the puzzle until was completed.
