Section 1 Task 1

I'm interested in learning more about how being a tutor works. Hopefully by the end of this course I will be applying to be a tutor if I can meet the requirements covered.

I have been an OU student since 2015 so i wouldn't say anything surprised me but it's good to know some of the statistics.

I am joining the OU in Scotland as Access, Participation and Success Manager soon and I also have an interview to be an AL on a WELS module.

Best wishes, Ruth

I've been a tutor for over ten years, but never with STEM, so I'm hoping to learn a bit more about this faculty in particular.

Morning Ann,

Are you thinking of joining STEM or is this just out of interest?

I have an interview on Monday for a level 2 sport psychology module. My other contracts are all psychology modules within FASS at the moment.

I am really considering being an OU tutor and what I would most like to get out of this course is to find out what qualifications I will need, the job role and hours.

I've wanted to be a lecturer since I attended University many years ago.  I'm really hoping that this course will allow me to make the decision if it is the correct career move for me :).  And of course, get me that all important interview !

Having been a student with the OU since 2015 I wasn't really surprised by anything in this section.
