Hi, my name is Lucy. I am studying Tropical Disease Biology. I am particularly interested in vector control and discovering new ways of managing disease-carrying insects. 

I am passionate about science communication, as I believe sharing knowledge can save lives and spark new ideas. I joined this course because I would love to learn how to effectively engage people about the important work going on all around. I love how the collaboration of different fields and people can open up so many new opportunities, for both researchers and the public, and can really change and challenge our own thinking.
