Create a personal profile in our course group page:

Introduce yourself to your peers and tell us something about yourself. During this course you will be asked to come back and edit your profile and add more information in small practical assignments.

This is how it works:
  1. Add a new entry to this course group page to create a profile. Type your name in the 'concept' field.
  2. Add some information about yourself in the description field. Let us know who  you are, what you like and what brought you here!
  3. If you like you can add a profile picture or a short videoclip.
  4. And don't forget to tell us what open science animal you are!
  5. If you want, you can add comments to your peers' profiles. Or say 'hello!'

Karim Mahmoud

Hello, although I have two science degrees, my focus has been on the research management and tech transfer side of research. My interest is in RRI concepts and in particular how Open Science approaches can help broaden the impact of public investment in research. I am interested in keeping up-to-date with the latest thinking in the area of Open Science as I train others on data and project management.

Hi, I have a background in veterinary medicine and bioinformatics. I'm a second year PhD student between a university in Belgium and a hospital in the Netherlands, working on automated quality control and analysis of flow cytometry data.  I hadn't heard of Open Science until recently and thought it would be useful and interesting to find out more.
