3.11 Planning for an ongoing conversation
Taking part in this course could be the first step to creating a worldwide network of community based researchers. But how can we keep in touch with each other?
We held a live event during the 1st run of the course. Dr Tom Parkinson and Dr Shaher Abdullateff from the Council for At Risk Academics (CARA) helped us host this event. Tom and Shaher have experience of this - they have been working to help displaced Syrian academics network and develop new skills.
Here’s an introduction to our hosts: in the video, Tom and Shaher introduce themselves to you:

Tom and Shaher drew on their own experiences to answer three questions:
1.How can we support a network for community based researchers
