3.6 Submission and Peer Review

This step involves two key actions: submitting your research proposal and reviewing a peer’s submission in the discussion forum.
Instructions for Submission:
- Using the notes in your Research Notebook to help you, draft your research proposal outline, in about 250-350 words in total. Look back at the example in the step 3.4 for inspiration if you need it.
- Use the headings ‘What, Why, How’ to structure your outline.
- Go to the Discussion Forum (link below).
- Create a new post and write/paste your research proposal into the post.
Instructions for Peer Review:
- Choose at least one peer’s submission to review.
- Reply to their post and provide constructive feedback based
on the following aspects of the author’s proposal:
- Clarity of Project Details: There are sufficient details to understand what the project will do
- Importance of Research Question: It is clear why the research question is important
- Appropriateness of Methods: The methods are appropriate to answer the research question
- Try to be specific and provide examples where possible.
