1 Course learning outcomes

The learning outcomes for this course, after you have studied it and completed the activities, are that you will know about:

• the main sources of UK immigration law, including the framework of the immigration legislation
• some of the work of an immigration adviser
• the personnel and terminology relating to immigration law.

In addition, you will have developed several practical and professional skills.

Each session also has its own learning outcomes, which expand on the overall course learning outcomes listed above.

The course is designed for flexible study, to be taken at your own pace. Each session has a final consolidation section that encourages you to self-assess your progress.
