  This course is for researchers in biomedicine, life sciences and related research fields interested in Open Science practices.
  What can you learn?
  In the following 6 modules you will get an introduction to a variety of useful tools and research practices, as well as Open Science principles and workflows along the research cycle in biomedicine and life sciences.
  Please note this course is now a standalone self-paced course that will not be moderated. In order to gain a completion certificate all the modules and activities must be completed.

  Open Science is about putting more science in society and more society in science. It is based on the principles of accessibility, transparency, and collaboration. It incorporates topics such as Open Access publishing, responsibly sharing data and analysis, and engaging with the public about science. It is also about improving research practices so researchers can benefit from more effective workflows. The aim of the ORION project is to explore and promote Open Science practices which improve the quality of research. Open Science is beneficial, practical, and simple for researchers.
