Supporting non-performing students

The following strategies could be adopted to support non-performing students:

1. Evaluating strengths and weaknesses in students: the tutor can build on the strength of students to help them realise their weaknesses as a way of motivating them to do better. This may require some patience and time to yield the expected results


2. Individualising the learning experience and making it peronal: while such students are not isolated from the normal course work, the tutor can tailor student specific content for such students. Such content can be discussed with the students privately via email, video or phone calls
